Spring Relish

Box Included Ingredients:

  • Pink Celery
  • Fennel
  • Radishes
  • Kohlrabi

Additional Optional Ingredients:

  • Chard stems
  • Greens
  • Onion, scallion or shallot
  • Lemon
  • Spices of choice refrencing recipe


  1. It's getting close to summer, which makes us think of barbecues, pickled veggies, and other ways to preserve summer through the season. So, why not make a big batch of relish to bring to picnics, top a salad, add to a rice bowl, or throw on protein (including tofu)? While this isn't a traditional relish, it uses all the ingredients in your box this week and may get your creative juices flowing for other recipe ideas!

  3. Based on the recipe guideline, you can swap and substitute until your heart's content. Dice up radish and kohlrabi! Sub in spring onions, use some fresh chilis too! It's a blank canvas.
  4. Making a simple relish to start will enable you to use this on a wide variety of dishes. This way you're able to add mix ins to cater specifically to each dish.
