RECIPES: The Greenbelt Smoothie

We created a refreshing, green and citrus smoothie named after Austin's beloved Greenbelt that uses fresh produce and goods from our Texas producers. Purchase our Smoothie Kit HERE and make your own smoothie at home!

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice

  • 1 cup carrots sliced, cooked

  • 1/2 cup pealed apple slices

  • 1 cup greens

  • 1/2 cup Mother Culture Luscious Lemon yogurt or Fronk's The Original

  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro

  • Ice cubes (as desired)

  • Option to add a locally-sourced honey for added sweetness

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a blender, on high speed, blend together all ingredients until fully incorporated

  2. Pour mixture into two chilled glasses and garnish with sliced apples, orange or a sprig of fresh cilantro.
