RECIPES | Omelette

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Toppings of your choice: ham, shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chives (optional)

  1. Start by cracking two eggs into a bowl. Add 1T cold water and whisk until fully incorporated.
  2. Heat a pan on medium low and add 1T butter. Once butter has melted and pan is fully coated add in your eggs.
  3. Once your eggs have begun to set, using a rubber spatula you're going to lift the edges of the omelette and tilt your pan allowing the excess egg mixture to flow under the omelette.
  4. Continue around the pan until majority of the egg mixture has been cooked, this will take 3-4 min, but your patience will be rewarded.
  5. Next, add your toppings to one half of the omelette. I added some chopped ham and shredded cheddar cheese, but you can add whatever you'd like into yours. Using your rubber spatula scoop one side of the omelette and fold over it onto itself and slide it onto a plate.
  6. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
