
Need a new recipe to re-ignite your love of radishes? This Marinated Radish recipe will blow your mind. Trust us.
Ingredients:
1 bunch of radishes
2 tablespoons olive oil + 2 tsp
1 tablespoon basil leaves
1 tablespoon chopped Calabrian chilis
1 teaspoons sherry or red wine vinegar
1 garlic clove, finely chopped or grated
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tablespoons bread crumbs
Basil, a few torn leaves
Salt and pepper taste
Instructions:
1. Slice the radishes in half and quarters. In a large bowl toss the radishes, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, the marinated Calabrian chilis, vinegar, lemon juice, and grated garlic.
2. Meanwhile in a small skillet, heat the 2 tsp olive oil, breadcrumbs, and a sprinkle of salt over medium heat. Toast and stir constantly until golden brown. Remove from the heat.
3. Plate the radishes on a flat plate, top with breadcrumbs, and basil.
Tips:
This is an amazing summer side dish that you can prepare in advance and let marinate.
Top with the prepared breadcrumbs just before serving.
Great with grilled meats and roasted potatoes. Try little white turnips in place of or with the radishes too.
