Ingredients
For the filling:
2.5 cups blackberries and/or blueberries
2-3 peaches or nectarines, sliced
½ cup sugar
Zest of one lemon
1.5 tablespoons flour
For the topping:
1 stick of butter, melted
⅔ cup old fashioned oats
⅔ cup all purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400
2. In a 9 inch cake pan or a similarly sized baking dish combine the berries, sliced peaches, sugar, lemon zest, and flour. Toss the fruit to coat it in the dry ingredients.
3. In a medium sized bowl add the melted butter, oats, all purpose flour, brown sugar, and salt. Mix together until all dry flour is absorbed and crumble in small clumps. Scoop onto the fruit.
4. Bake at 375 for about 50 minutes. Fruit should be cooked and saucy and the topping should be golden and crisped. Let cool for at least 15 minutes, serve with ice cream!
